My profs are all so old too D:

I'm so glad I facebook friended a few teachers from RJ, because once a while they'll put status updates regarding the state of unmarked papers lying on their desks which attract the comments of other teachers bemoaning the state of unmarked papers lying on their desks... Their suffering amuses me. >:D

Also it reminds me that teachers are human too. Humans to befriend and seek guidance from, not just a lecturer or a marker. It's why I chose a small school damn it! Though it's hard to remember when they've spent their whole lives in a subject you know nothing about, and hit you with insight after insight while you're just sitting there going 'whuh??!@!#$%^&'.*

Yeap, it's hard. I didn't realise that Japanese Visual Culture takes a postmodern perspective to the issue, otherwise I'd have run away from it, screaming; but it's interesting, and the professor is nice. Also he's my advisor, haha.

I like the prof in my product design class more though. I pick up random nuts and berries on my way to class, and he'd tell me what they were (and if they were good to eat). Apparently horse chestnuts are not edible like regular chestnuts? A good thing I realise that before I start roasting them.

* Furthermore it would require a break of habit; I've always preferred figuring things out on my own to asking people for help. Apparently I've been that way since I was a toddler, according to my mum, and if my psychology profs are right I'll retain that characteristic for the rest of my life, at least deep down inside.
